ProgEdu — Timetable Management Platform for Schools
ProgEdu is a timetable management platform I founded and built that helps school administrators create conflict-free weekly timetables, update them throughout the year with minimal changes and notify affected teachers of every change the same day.

I built ProgEdu for the weekly timetable that schools in Turkey have to rework many times a year. Schools import their Excel timetable by pasting or uploading it; those without one build it step by step from templates based on the weekly lesson schedules of the Ministry of National Education (MEB). Conflicts show up instantly while editing, and the system suggests the fix with the fewest changes.
When a teacher is absent or asks for a free day, ProgEdu prepares a preview first; no one's timetable changes before publication. At a real middle school, giving three teachers a free day in Excel meant moving 118 of 140 lesson hours; in my test on that school's data, ProgEdu met the same three requests by changing only 18 lesson hours and affecting just 5 teachers, with zero conflicts. Teachers see their week on their phone via a personal link, no account needed; administrators can consult an AI assistant in plain language, yet the decision is always theirs.
I designed the product to protect personal data: teacher names are kept under pseudonyms until the institution is verified. ProgEdu is now preparing to launch with free and paid plans.
