Qurbani and Votive Sacrifice Video Delivery System

We build this system for associations, foundations and aid organisations that perform qurbani and votive sacrifices on behalf of donors. Sacrifice videos reach only the donors they belong to, without exposing personal data, and each donor can watch and download only the video of their own share.

Each donor receives a single, unguessable personal link that stays the same from registration until the video's retention period ends; our database stores only its hash. Sign-ins from a new device are confirmed with a one-time code sent to the donor's verified phone number or email address, and the device is then remembered for 90 days. Videos are stored on a separate video service rather than the website's server and are played through signed, time-limited URLs.

Field videos are uploaded in bulk, and the system matches each one to its animal and shares using a tag in the file name; no video reaches donors without moderator approval. We import donor lists from spreadsheets (Excel/CSV), collect proxy authorisations online or by phone, and send “your video is ready” notifications only to verified channels. Personal data is stored encrypted, and records are automatically deleted or anonymised once the retention periods set under KVKK, Turkey's personal data protection law, run out.
